Everyone has been subjected to the Chuck Norris craze. No one man has dodged so many machine guns and killed so many people with a pistol that has a never ending clip. In other words he’s the “bomb.com!”
We have sat around many times laughing and telling Chuck Norris jokes and even tried to make up some ourselves.
“Chuck Norris once fought Superman, and the loser had to wear his underwear over his pants!”
Chuck Norris is a legend in his own rights and has come up with some pretty good leadership quotes:
I think setting a goal, getting a visual image of what it is you want. You’ve got to see what it is you want to achieve before you can pursue.
No personhas ever been a great leader that didn’t project a great vision. The Bible says it best “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” I submit to you seasoned leaders and young ones alike, does your people, company, friends, know your vision? Have you laid it out in writing? Have you verbally explained it? And have you taken the steps necessary to achieve your goals?
Whatever luck I had, I made. I was never a natural athlete, but I paid my dues in sweat and concentration and took the time necessary to learn karate and become world champion.
Having a vision and developing a plan isn’t good enough. You must get in the trenches and work your tail off to succeed at whatever field your in.
Leading is hard work! “NOTHING WORTH ACHIEVING COMES FROM SITTING AROUND ON A FLOWERY BED OF EASE!” Laziness will get you nowhere!
Our grandparents had to walk to school uphill barefooted both ways in their day. Did you ever see Chuck Norris sitting around? Of course not. LOL!
CHAMPS work hard, CHUMPS hardly work!
You can always tell a person’s real character and personhood by those who closely surround him, especially if they’re family.
Look at all the Walker Texas Ranger shows. Teamwork was at the heart and soul of that iconic program. When building a vision and writing down goals, don’t forget to surround your life with some likeminded, hardworking, encouraging teammates.
Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.
You may not only need to surround yourself with a person per say, but positive books, listening to what the leading experts are saying, and surrounding your mind with great thoughts that expand your mind. We become who we hang around with, and the material we put in our minds.
So take lessons from Chuck, kick some butt, and continue to grow as a leader.
